Research Focus
I have experience in rearing beneficial insects, particularly the minute pirate bug. I believe that mass liberation of beneficial insects is a key element in keeping pests under innocuous levels. I wish to master this technique of mass rearing of parasitoids at UCR and research the biochemical relationship that occurs in the complex host/parasitoid. My objective is to develop an artificial diet required for the mass rearing of parasitoids.
